Step Four


The focus is still very much on learning through play but within a more structured environment. Through carefully planned observations and written records we are able to detect how best to support and extend each child's individual learning.

Practical activities have always been a big part of Step Four and offer the children a 'hands on' and 'seeing is believing' approach.
We plan regular walks to the local parks, shops, playing fields and have weekly sessions at the college gym.

Children learn and develop their knowledge through a variety of mediums and it is our aim to offer the best possible care and support whilst providing experiences of the highest quality. All of which enable the children to learn, progress and extend their development within a fun, enjoyable, stimulating and challenging environment.
