Step Three
In Step Three we provide a range of opportunities and resources within a free-flow environment, therefore allowing the children the freedom to experience, investigate and explore both the indoor and outdoor surroundings.
A range of activities are available for the children to participate in that include construction, messy and creative play, singing/story times, games, cooking, imaginative and role play.
The children's curiosity and independence is encouraged and extended by being given time and space to explore open-ended materials with experienced staff showing and giving interest and support when needed.
To help with their ever expanding language development, a wide repertiore of songs, rhymes and stories becomes a fun and enriching part of their everyday life within Step Three.
Regular trips out from the Nursery are undertaken, both around the College campus and further afield to local shops and parks.
