Step Two

Step Two is aimed at children approximatley 15 months - 2.5 years old. Within this age group, independance is encouraged and activities are planned around the childrens individual interests and needs.

We work closely in partnership with parents/carers with regards to promoting toilet training and self help skills. At this stage of development children are starting to play alongside their peers, establishing social skills and increasing their language and communication skills.

Toys are displayed at the childrens level, allowing the freedom to choose activities of interest. This ranges from construction to role play and enables the children to learn through play.

Step Two has its own access to the garden allowing for plenty of opportunties for outdoor play.
