First Steps @ Bersted

First Steps @ Bersted is a 48 place Day Nursery, catering for children aged 0-5 years for 51 weeks of the year. The nursery is open from 7.30am - 6.00pm Monday to Friday and a variety of flexible sessions are available.

The nursery has a varied menu of freshly cooked meals for lunch and tea included in the majority of the sessions on offer. Snacks, such as fruit and toast and drinks are also available throughout the day.

The nursery opened in April 2009 and operates from three rooms in a purpose built premises, accommodated in the same building as The Tree House Children & Family Centre, Laburnham Grove.

First Steps @ Bersted has just had its first Ofsted inspection and have been awarded a 'Good' outcome in all areas. To view this report in full please click on the link on the left.

First Steps employs qualified and experienced staff, and provides excellent facilities and learning opportunities in line with the Early Years Foundation Stage.
